Our Story

2009:

Ampush is born. Three UPenn friends ditch their jobs on Wall Street to pursue their true passions of owning and growing a business.

2010:

Just five people strong, the Ampush team takes root in a small office space in SOMA at the heart of the San Francisco tech scene.

2011:

Smartphones outship PCs for the first time, and the guys have an idea for a new venture...

2011:

The first prototype of AMP debuts and integrates with the Facebook API.

2012:

Two Ampushers open shop in Manhattan to help east coast advertisers take full advantage of the mobile boom.

2013:

Facebook welcomes Ampush as its newest Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer (sPMD) - an elite group of just 13 companies.

2014:

Ampush adds Twitter advertising to its arsenal and is named a Marketing Platform Partner (MPP) by Twitter.

2015:

Ampush adds Pinterest advertising to its arsenal.

2015:

Ampush adds Instagram advertising to its arsenal.

2015:

Ampush receives first-ever outside investment via strategic partnership with Red Ventures.
