How We Used Twitter to Drive Mobile App Installs

Our most recent case study takes a look at how Ampush successfully drove a high volume of mobile app installs on Twitter for a prominent newspaper brand.
Our partner’s app install efforts on Twitter had plateaued, so our mission was to find a way to kick-start that growth. It was important that the mobile app install campaign drive significantly more downloads without sacrificing user quality or spending efficiency.
To help the top-tier newspaper brand tap into large but highly relevant audiences, Ampush targeted users who likely would be interested in our partner’s product by using Twitter’s account affiliation and interests targeting tools. Targeting audiences by interests not only provided additional ways to reach users with general news interest, but will also enable analysts to match ads showcasing industry-specific news features to users with interests in corresponding industries. Overall, we utilized 30 unique audience segments, each receiving customized ad imagery and copy.
