Ampush Appoints Facebook’s Former VP of Global Marketing Solutions to its Board of Advisors

Arrix Will Join Ampush’s Existing Board of Advisors, Counseling the Company on Matters Ranging From Client Strategy to Product Development

San Francisco – January 16, 2013

 Ampush, a leading ad technology company and Facebook Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer (sPMD), today announced that it has appointed Tom Arrix to its board of advisors. Arrix, who led Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions Group until late last year, will join Ampush’s existing advisors in helping to shape the strategic direction of the fast-growing company. In particular, Arrix will advise on client strategy, strategic partnerships and market/product development.

Arrix is a media and marketing industry veteran. In his seven years at Facebook, Arrix saw the company’s transformation from 8 million users to over a billion today. Under Arrix’s leadership, Facebook developed transformational marketing relationships with industry leaders like Walmart, American Express, JPMorgan Chase, Coca-Cola, Amazon, P&G, Samsung, EA Sports, Lions Gate and GM’s return to the platform in 2013. Prior to Facebook, Arrix led Univision Digital’s advertising and mobile sales team, servicing the U.S. Hispanic market and led the sales efforts for CBS Sportsline.
